Is Shuffle Tracking the Same as Card Counting?

When were hear about the supposed ways to beat online poker games the first thing on everyone’s lip is always card counting. This is a system where the players keep a running total in their head so that they can make an informed decision about what to do next. The flaw in card counting is that the casinos are always trying to think u new ways to foil the counters. They have instituted multiple decks in play, cameras, and really detailed security measures to make sure that counters do not take their income. The way that many card counters are working against these measures is by adding shuffle tracking to their repertoire. Despite what many people think, the two are not actually the same thing. Shuffle tracking takes into account the mathematical variations of a particular shuffling technique, while card counting actually tracks the individual online poker cards that have been played. They are slightly different, but often used in combination with each other to get the desired result. And like card counting, shuffle tracking in a casino can often find you on the wrong side of casino security. It is not very reliable, against poker casino policy, and difficult to do correctly. Does this sound like something you should do?
