Born and raised in New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus examined airlines, hospitality, and software together and to the benefit of all three trades. He has done everything from creating computer programs that automate resource and time intensive processes to increasing air safety and even designs for luxury houses. His lineage can reveal all you might need to know about his skills and the tremendous amount he has accomplished. The family can trace its provenance as far back as the days of Rome’s glory and can boast of a wide background. The maternal family mingles German and Scottish stock. An equally wide blend dominates the paternal branch; previous to their emigration in the late nineteenth century, Bredimus’ forerunners dwelt in England and Luxembourg. After arriving in the U.S., the line still strove to rise in the world. Growing up one of seven siblings, Nicholas would be born to a father working as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. He went on to dwell in Texas for quite some while as well as in Kansas City, MO, Scottsdale, AZ and Reston, VA.

And what did Nicholas Bredimus do with his background and schooling? He would soon embark on a series of respected jobs, all as part of major airlines. Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest — these firms would all at one time or another appoint him their vp. Most noteworthy, however, is his work as an inspired software architect for the airline industry. Mr Bredimus is certainly most acclaimed for the airplane maintenance program he crafted on behalf of US Airways, destined to become an “old reliable” for the task. But this was just one of his key creations for airlines and for the hotel sector. The reservation programs he invented are on their way to becoming as commonly used as the airplane maintenance software, and his hotel booking routine enabled many major companies in the hotel industry to leverage the first pc based infrastructure. And next came an online, networked approach to ticket sales that stands as a first.

He has also taken on several positions entirely unconnected to software design, let’s not forget. He managed American Express’ computer division, founded Bredimus Systems seventeen years ago, and became the founding president of American Airlines’ AMR Travel Services. So is he still working? Very much so — his capabilities are ready to answer the call despite his retirement. His attention has shifted to the architectural concerns bound up in the development of environmentally neutral, hi tech upmarket condos.
